From the 1st of January 2020 Kurhula will be having new owners, trading under a new name (Phakamani) and offering a different package.
If you want to experience Kurhula Lodge the way it has been the past 11 years book your stay before the end of the year.
Kurhula Wildlife Lodge has a 10 year history of welcoming guests. The 4 cozy double rooms for maximum 8 guests are all facing the natural garden and the river. Slate tiles and wood are used to blend in with the environment. Several nooks are created around the lodge to give as much privacy as wished. From a hammock in the fig tree, wooden deck at the Olifants river to the sun beds at the swimming pool.
Where else do you find a place where you are not confined to the path ways, but were you can be up close to a wild animal crossing the unfenced garden.
Kurhula Wildlife Lodge is particularly valued for its high personal service, excellent home cooked cuisine and beautiful surroundings. Our aim is not to show our guests the Big Five, but to educate them about the synergy between animals, flora and human being. The best of ‘in the heart of nature’ in combination with western comforts, contributes to a unique experience!
